Welcome to This Runner’s Recipes!
My name is Laura, and I’m an RRCA and Run-Fit certified running coach, writer, distance runner, craft beer lover, sourdough baker, and outdoor enthusiasts living with my husband and two rescue dogs in the Seattle area. In addition to coaching and writing this blog, I develop content for companies including Runkeeper and Stonyfield.
As you can see from this blog, I love to run – and I love to help others in their running. I have been running since 2008 and started racing once I finished up graduate school in 2014, when I ran my first 10K in 50:15 and my first half marathon in 1:46. Since then, I have focused on sustainably yet successfully improving my finish times. I have qualified for the Boston Marathon twice, placed second overall at a local 10K, and have no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
This blog is where I talk about running, racing, hiking, food and nutrition, and life in general, as well as offer run coaching services. Here you will find nutritious recipes, nutrition for runners, running tips, race recaps, and more. I strive to help others pursue their running goals and develop a healthy eating lifestyle that fuels running and nourishes the body.

I work with dozens of runners in helping them achieve their goals and find joy in running – from first-time runners to those seeking a PR in various distances.
